GB Monitoring goes Scouting for Gold

GB Monitoring has announced plans to increase its national network of accredited installers, as part of an ambitious growth strategy for 2010.

The company’s NSI ARC Gold remote video response centre has been operating since 1993, and was one of the first NSI ARCs to gain BS 8418 approval.

GB Monitoring, which has its head office in the East of England, launched its first installer partnership programme in 2008 and the new plans include a direct marketing campaign targeting NSI Gold approved installers.

They’re being offered various packages, with a flexible contract base that is matched to their CCTV remote monitoring experience.  The GB package also challenges typical monitoring cost structures which are based on activations, by giving their installers a fixed price customer contract offer.

Said managing director Stephen Wright: “The typical installer that we want to recruit is NSI approved and doing some CCTV, but may not have the knowledge and expertise for detector activated systems.  It is a ripe market for them and will provide a steady stream of long term income.

“If they think it’s complicated, we can provide the know-how to help them move into this market. “ He added:  “We like to build relationships that last, and outstanding customer care and technical support are at the core of our business, so we’re looking for installers that match our ethos.”
