Instead of having a CCTV system that just records, with a Remote Monitoring CCTV system you can be confident that someone is aware of the status of your site at all times and can take action should an intrusion occur.
For the monitoring to be as effective as possible, we recommend that the equipment is installed by a GB Monitoring approved installer. Our approved installers will provide expert advice on the best CCTV cameras and detection systems to suit your needs, and where best to place them.
Once installed, the CCTV cameras are connected to an RVRC. We have our own purpose-built RVRC which is accredited to NSI Gold standard.
We have a dedicated team of SIA licensed RVRC operatives to ensure that your site is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If the CCTV cameras detect unauthorised movement on your site, an alarm is sent to our RVRC with live video feed via broadband, 3G or telephone link.
On receipt of the live image, a member of the monitoring team will ascertain whether the alarm was triggered by an intruder(s).
In the case of an intrusion, the monitoring team will use a two-way tannoy link to warn the intruder(s) that he/she is being watched and recorded and to immediately leave site. This is an effective crime prevention measure and, in the majority of cases, the intruder will leave.
The sites keyholder is also notified as they will need to meet the Police on site.
A detailed report of the event is provided and can be accessed via our client portal, or emailed to you.
